Flower Care Tips

When you receive a vase of fresh cut flowers, how long should they last? That depends. How well you care for them will tell the tale. First, it is important to change the water at least every other day. Over time the water will begin to grow bacteria and this causes the ends of the stems to become clogged and therefore wont take up water. So ,in addition to changing the water ,it is advisable to recut the stems. This will open them up and allow the uptake of water, which will extend their life.

Different varieties of flowers have varying lifespans. Some will live for only a couple of days and others 10-14 days. The proper care of the flowers will allow you to enjoy them for as long as possible. If you have any questions about the care of your flowers, please don't hesitate to call us any time.
